There is a lot of old buildings in Baradine, with one of them being the forestry office shown below which is 75 years old, and forestry is the main source of income in the town from the pine that can be harvested out of the Pilliga forest, but the amount of time it takes for the wood to grow is substantial, with the wood growing very slowly in the sandy dry soil and hot or cold conditions.
This building is the old bank of NSW I think, but now is a large house with a garden beside the post office which is a fairly new building, although all the glass windows are smashed out by some intelligent individuals.
This plaque is at the town hall which is situated at the end of the main
street so if you look from one end down the street you can see the
whole halls front which is quite an impressive view.
This is the local memorial pool which is the pool, war memorial and ANZAC day service place all in one, but the cracked concrete could do with some maintenance.
This is the church, which is a fairly old building as is shown by this plaque but it has had some modern fibreglass awnings added to the side doors.
